Powerful features behind every move

Cassettes: Specially designed cassettes serve as load platforms that wait to be loaded and unloaded. They distribute the weight of the coils evenly, provide a stable load area, and lower the center of gravity. Each cassette can transfer several coils in a single drive. The cassettes provide convenient buffer storage.

Translifter: A heavy-duty translifter picks up the cassettes using hydraulically lifting bogies. This self-loading principle means the cassette waits, but the translifter and driver never stop. One translifter can transport even 1250 tonnes of coils per hour.

Terminal tractor: Movella translifters are operated by standard 4×4 terminal tractors which have driver’s seat that turn 180 degrees for excellent visibility and hydraulic outlets to provide power to the translifter.

Automatic weather protection – enhanced protection for coil storage and transport

Two optional weather protection options to shield the steel coils. A weather cover can be installed

on the translifter to protect coils during transfers, or
on the cassettes to provide protection during both transfers and storage.

The automated weather protection system can be operated safely and efficiently directly from the operator’s cabin, ensuring continuous protection of the steel coils without interrupting handling operations. By keeping the coils dry and shielded from weather exposure, the system helps prevent material damage and reduces the risk of costly claims.
